The Japanese Swordsmanship Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional martial arts of Japan.
JSS teaches Iaido, Naginata, Kyudo and Jodo classes in New York City and New Jersey.
Iaido
Iaido is the art of drawing the sword.
Naginata
The Naginata is a halberd-like weapon with a blade mounted on a long handle.
Kyudo
Kyudo is the Japanese art of archery.
Jodo
The Jo is a short wooden staff, used to defend against the sword.
