Kyudo, or “the Way of the Bow,” is the Japanese martial art of archery, blending physical technique with a deep philosophical and meditative practice. Using a traditional asymmetrical bow (yumi), practitioners aim not only for accuracy but for a state of inner calm and mindfulness.
Each shot in Kyudo is a ritual ... measured, deliberate and symbolic. Through this discipline, students cultivate patience, focus and a profound connection between mind, body and spirit.
